This policy explains what Mockscope collects when you use Mockscope, why, and what you can do about it. We are the data fiduciary for this information. Contact: support@mockscope.in.
Account data. Your email address, and your name and profile photo if you sign in with Google. A phone number if you give us one at payment.
Content you upload. Examination papers, answer keys and images you add to your account.
Attempt data. This is the core of the product. While you take a test we record which question you were viewing and for how long, every option you selected and changed, when you marked a question for review, how you moved between questions and sections, and which language you were reading in. This is what the report is built from.
Payment data. Handled by Razorpay. We receive a payment reference and status. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
Technical data. Standard server logs, including IP address and browser type.
To give you an account and keep you signed in; to generate your reports and history; to process payments; to keep the service secure; and to understand, in aggregate, how the product is used so we can improve it.
Your papers and attempts are private to your account and are enforced as such at the database level. Other users cannot read them. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
We use a small number of processors to run the service: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Google (sign-in, if you use it) and Razorpay (payments). Some of these store data outside India.
Account and attempt data are kept while your account is open. If you delete your account we remove your papers, attempts and profile within 30 days, except where we must keep payment records to meet tax and accounting obligations.
You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its contents. Write to support@mockscope.in and we will respond within 30 days.
Mockscope is intended for examination candidates aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, please use it with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.
We use cookies only to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access to your rows is restricted at the database level to your own account. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will tell you.
We will post any change here and update the date at the top of this page.
